Photoshoot at Grandma's

A couple of weeks ago my son and granddaughters came for a visit and a bit of lunch. Also tagging along was a close friend and her son and daughter. The kids went off out into the wild to see what they could see. The weather was glorious. It was February, but you wouldn't know it.
What we older folks didn't know was the two older girls were having a photoshoot. I think the eleven year old brother was the photographer. He did a great job.

I enjoyed seeing a bit of our house in the portrait above.

With cameras on phones and digital everything nowadays it is a lot easier to have your picture taken at grandma's.

The girls found a heart shaped rock.

Thirteen years ago these little scrub oaks were covered with poison oak vines, but dear hubby has cleared most of the poison oak off over time. No one came down with it on this visit, I believe.

One grand oak became the subject of this great shot.

Checking out the view towards Coloma, just like the pioneers and gold seekers once did many years ago.

Making memories and getting exercise at Grandma's.
